Fa Mulan

Revisiting Disney’s Mulan with sick daughter. She found the disc languishing away in the back of the DVD cabinet.

It really is a remarkable movie. The story’s the quintessential Hero’s Journey. Robert D. San Souci’s Fa Mulan story manages to bring the 2,000 year old Ballad of Mulan into the realms of time-independent classics.
