Thinsia: is there a there there?

Roland Sassen writes about the OpenID chance.

He starts out well discussing OpenID, Liberty, and CardSpace. But then I get completely lost. What are the arguments or goals? That OpenID should be used as an authentication service and let sites focus on their core business? I think that is understood to be the driving force behind OpenId.

His solution seems to be Thinsia, presumably explained in a diagram that I’m too daft to grok.

Roland ends with

“So as soon as the OpenId community admit this simple fact (…)”

Sounds great, but Roland, I’m so sorry, I have no idea what this simple fact is!

Hello Hans (Hans who?)

the simple fact that "admit that publishing basic identity information is something good and useful."
and "Admit this, and set it free, on your persona internet portal!"

maybe this helps:

About the diagram,
please tell me what is not clear and I will try to explain!

Thanks for pointing me to any things not clear,
Roland Sassen
