Identity 2.0 poetry

With due apologies for the somewhat broken meter:

Can we provide you with an identity
  a shiny, fresh, and spotless you
with new skills, friends, and ability
  Here it is: yourself version two

Everything's possible, there is no constraint
  Reality is what we manage to sell
Forget who you are, and be what you ain't
  Even yourself won't be able to tell

So when you turn to yourself and ask 
  who you are, just smile back and say
That you'll need to get back to yourself 
  once you remember who you were that day
